theyre described as "gruesome". having heard that, now i really want to see them. only a selected few in congress got to see these photos, there was about 15 that were taken in Abbottabad compound.

we can only wait and hope that they are leaked, fingers crossed..

Damn, so im pretty sure i am not the only one bummed about the photographs of Osama not being released. i dont know what it is, i just want to see them. it could just be the sick human curiosity, frankly i hope it is that, because if its not then i should really be worried haha. Sea Burial

why at sea, i though like everyone else. but after i read an article on yahoo.com, i read some really compelling reasons why at sea. like, what country would want to bury a mass murderer in their countries soul? i know damn well i wouldnt want to bury him here. another reason is, where ever he would of been buried would of attracted extremists everywhere as some sort of shrine like burial ground.

this topic got really intense and i loved every minute of it. there were many moments where i thought some peoples feelings were going get hurt, but everyone was respectful and strong. im kind of saddened that most of the time we were talking about how emergency rooms are filled with illegal immigrants, and thats why it takes forever to see a doctor. a little bit of a let down, but as soon as we got past that little scuttle we moved into dangerous territoy like race and the color of peoples skin. i didnt like the fact that people were making generalizations and stereotyping, but i guess you kind of have to in a situation involving race. overall i enjoyed this discussion as i have enjoyed the ones before, but this one seemed to hit a little closer to home for some kids in the class.
and thank you to mr palo for staying quiet the whole time and letting us do our business, i think we accomplish more when you arent there holding our hands guiding us through what we should be doing on our own.
i look forward to any discusions i have with people now about topics like this, because now i know i can actually talk and understand the whole story not just what everyone generally knows.

So im watching my daily FOXnews and im watching Greta ask Sarah Palin about her opinion on what Obama did with Libya and she gave her criticism and just went on about nothing really. then Greta turned on good ol Palin and asked her what she would of done in the same situation, and you could tell on her face that she was not ready for that question. She had a surprised faced and kind of stutter out her bullsh*t answer.

so apparently there has been an e-mail circulating between the GOP and tea party. its a picture of a mom and dad chimp with their son, the president. saying something along the lines of now we know why he has no birth certificate.

Ahh got to love the first amendment, in some countries people would disappear over night if they did something or anything like this. It's good to live in a country where we have the freedom to pull jokes on those in power, bad judgement on the GOP for this one though.

so the drunk driving scenario we had at our school, was pretty damn intense. the assembly more than anything. having those parents there reading their last words to their kids was just so surreal. to see actual tears drawing down their faces as they beg and plead for their children to be back home and happy. it was just so devastating and to think that people actually go through with loosing their children to such an ignorant thing such as drinking and driving, it being the kids driving or being hit by a drunk driver.
i took it to heart, i absorbed the message and i will take this experience with me so that i dont end up like those kids that didnt have the chance to go through a simulation to see waht it is really like when you drink and drive.

The Federal Government might be on summer break

so i was sitting in my room, watching my daily family guy when i get a text from my dad, who is based at Fort Bliss in El Paso Texas saying he might not be getting paid this month. and me not knowing what was going on light up the web and all the news channels to see what he was talking about.
and what i found was pretty intense. government is broke, and cant pay its federal employees! Such as the great men and women that serve and protect our mother land. my dad being in the military has grown fond of his anger and was really pissed, because apparently the government still owes my dad money from previous negotiations. so their debt just keeps on rising like the sun every morning.

we just have to wait and see

My words from my project from President Obamas SOTU, were words that the President used multiple times to get his point across. Words that he mentioned more than twice were words that were also powerful such as: "future and "change". now Obama is known for his powerful speeches, and a powerful speech this was. With brutal straight out plans for "freezing", "subsidizing", and "progress". All in all, everything that the President says is very vital to the moving forward of this country.

Women in Direct Ground Combat?

Should women be allowed to fight in combat? some would plead its sexist, some would say that is not a display of equal rights. Although there are some valid points why women should not be allowed to fight in combat. Woman do not have the upper body strength men have to carry 45 pounds of armor, weaponry, and kevlar. And not to mention a wounded soldier if need necessary. Not to mention the sexual tension that would be flying back and forth between the soldiers, marines, airmen, and sailors. Women already do fight in combat, the question is if women should be allowed to fight in direct ground combat. Fighting with tanks, artillery and infantry.

Freedom of Speech, is there a limit?

People misinterpret the Bible, and claim they know what is right, but sometimes because we as humans are flawed, we claim things that God says that he never meant at all. When this lady said that God will punish those that do not follow his word she is absolutely right 100%, but God doesn't like punishing us, we are his children and he gives us a chance to redeem ourselves from sin, and we whom are not perfect cannot judge the world for we are not perfect.
now enough with the religious point of view, as an American I think this lady should of chosen her words wisely. I mean if a congresswoman was shot in the head for attempting to work for the people and do what is right for her state, why do people like this, that talk about our men and women in uniforms get away with such injustice?
